Customer Services Administrator – Doncaster – £30-35k
We have an immediate requirement for a strong Administrator to coordinate activities within Customer Service and Parts department. If you are an experienced resource planner, excellent with customers via telephone and email and adept with Excel / ERP / Data base and report writing, this job may be for you.
Customer Services Administrator - Key Responsibilities
Acting as a primary point of contact for aftersales customer enquiries via telephone and email, days are varied and the list of potential activities is extensive, but all revolve around managing customer queries, relating to product issues, faults, repairs, replacements, returns and warranty claims, providing clear, professional and timely updates to customers throughout the resolution
Process.
You will investigate issues in collaboration with Production, Quality, Engineering and Logistics teams, coordinating corrective actions, including repairs, and providing real-time updates and reports on order status, production progress, deliveries and service activity.
Duties also include tracking returned goods and dealing with warranty cases from inquiry through to resolution, supporting root cause analysis by providing accurate data and customer feedback and working closely with Quality, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to resolve aftersales issues.
There will be times when you have to deal with complaints and this requires a calm, professional and resilient nature in order to resolve issues, identify recurring issues and contribute to improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.
To apply for the customer services administrator position, you must:
Have proven experience in a customer service or administrative role within a manufacturing,
engineering or technical environment.
Experience processing customer orders, quotations and delivery schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with production, planning, logistics and engineering teams.
Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience using ERP/MRP systems within a manufacturing environment, handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally as well as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related discipline.
As well as a competitive salary £30-35k, the customer services administrator is:
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm, finishing at 4.30pm on Fridays.
