A forward-thinking, quality driven manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join their Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone skilled in technical machine operation, process control, and clean manufacturing. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, reliable production flow, maintaining accuracy, and meeting daily output targets within both clean and clean-room environments.

Shift Patterns: (Week 1: 6am–2pm / Week 2: 2pm–10pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate process machinery safely and effectively in accordance with daily schedules.
Select and adjust machine settings for each job.
Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Complete in-process quality checks and update all relevant worksheets.
Maintain a tidy, safe workstation and return tools/equipment appropriately.
Support supervisors and team leaders with operational tasks.
Share knowledge and best practice with team members.
Follow all HS&E standards, Quality Procedures, and SOPs.
Update job-specific paperwork, machine documents, and shift records accurately.
Take part in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Strong understanding of conversion machinery and associated equipment.
Logical, methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
Ability to investigate, document, and communicate machine or process alterations.
Professional, approachable, and customer focused.
Confident reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and worksheets.
Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
Knowledge of web-processing operation and machine assemblies.
Ability to monitor production, diagnose issues, and resolve minor faults (desirable).
Knowledge of HS&E and quality procedures (desirable).
NVQ Level 2 LMO or equivalent preferred.
