Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a fantastic family run manufacturing business in Wakefield. They are excited to be bringing in a Payroll Administrator who will be working stand alone on a mid volume payroll. They are looking for someone who has strong experience as a Payroll Senior, Administrator or Officer with a strong understanding of legislation and process and the ability to work alone.
Key Objectives
Payroll Administrator to process all weekly payroll information including starters, leavers, amendments
Payments and deductions
Process, monitor and check the accuracy of the monthly and weekly payroll ensuring that any errors are rectified efficiently
SMP, SSP
End of Year Process's

Essential Requirements
Advanced one system would be beneficial
Good systems knowledge
Several years previous experience In Payroll
Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries.
Up to date legislation knowledge
Deliver payroll & pension
Able to have flexibility to work on bank holidays but take time back in lieu
