Description
The Accounts Assistant will cover:
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are promptly resolved.
Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Perform general administrative tasks related to Accounting & Finance.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Good organisational and time management abilities.
Previous experience in a similar Accounting & Finance role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer
An hourly rate of £15.00 to £17.00, depending on experience.
One day a week in the office in central Reading
