About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP)—the leading source of stroke data for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex projects that drive improvements in stroke care and research. SSNAP is a national healthcare quality improvement programme based in the School of Life Course and Population Sciences at King’s College London. We measure both the processes of care (clinical audit) provided to stroke patients and the structure of stroke services (organisational audit) against evidence-based standards. Since 2013, SSNAP has recorded over 900,000 cases, making it the most comprehensive stroke audit in the UK. As Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of technical projects within SSNAP, ensuring high standards of quality, effective communication, and strong stakeholder engagement. You will also provide technical support across a range of innovative projects and workstreams focused on stroke care quality improvement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver and collaborative team player; skillset in technical and analytical work with the ability to adapt in a complex environment; highly organised with excellent planning and communication skills; passionate about healthcare quality improvement and committed to delivering impactful results. This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed-term contract until 31/03/2028.
