As our Assistant Land Manager, you will support the identification, assessment, and acquisition of residential development opportunities across the Merseyside, Cheshire West and the Lancashire area. A genuine interest in land acquisition and residential development
Educated to degree level (or working towards) in a relevant discipline such as Real Estate, Planning, Surveying, or similar
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, proactive, and keen to learn
Full UK driving licence
Previous experience either from a Land Agency or Developer background
Ability to identify viable land development opportunities both on and off market for delivery in the short to medium term
Build a short- and medium-term pipeline landbank based on strong margin and advantageous deal structure and cashflows
Maintain and expand the Division's key contact base, e.g. land agents, landowners, local authorities
Technical ability and good understanding of the planning process
Some experience in housebuilding, property, planning, surveying, or a related field (graduate or trainee experience welcomed)

Assist in identifying and assessing potential residential development sites
Support with initial site appraisals, feasibility studies, and financial assessments
Undertake market research and planning policy reviews
Liaise with landowners, agents, planners, and internal departments
Help prepare reports, presentations, and approval papers for senior management
Maintain land databases and monitor land opportunities within the region
Support negotiations and the acquisition process where appropriate
