Abatec is excited to partner with a leading engineering firm that specialises in intelligent energy metering technology, serving both the domestic and commercial markets. We are looking to recruit a Multiskilled Technician to join their expanding team.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience or a strong interest in analogue and digital radio electronics.
The Multiskilled Technician position is site-based in South Gloucestershire (Bristol) and is available on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Investigate and diagnose electronic/electro-mechanical products to meet specified requirements.
- Utilize basic test instruments and specialized testing equipment accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely reports using the correct processes and software.
- Offer additional support in the warehouse and assist with stock movement as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge or interest in radio electronics (a desired qualification is a BTEC ONC in digital and analogue electronics or City & Guilds 224 Part 3, ideally in Radio Electronics).
- Experience of working with electro-mechanical products
- Experience in using test equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Good attention to detail
