Permanent opportunity for an Electronics Assembly Operative ideally with Soldering & IPC
DAY SHIFT – Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 5pm Friday 8.30 am – 3pm
Location – Sheffield 9 area
Family run business with very little staff turnover, permanent position due to increased business, immediate start, salary circa £25,000 - £27,000 p.a.
Position Summary:
Join our team as an Electronics Assembly Operative, where you’ll be responsible for the precise assembly and testing of electronic circuit boards and final assembly of products. This role is ideal for candidates with strong soldering skills and experience in IPC standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Hand solder of both surface mount and through-hole components

De-soldering and rework of circuit boards

Building of cable looms

Test finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Skills & Qualifications:

Good manual dexterity and attention to detail

Ability to follow detailed written instructions with limited supervision

Awareness of quality systems and standards is an advantage

General IT skills and proficiency with computer software

IPC-A-610 qualification (desirable but not essential, can be trained)
