Accounts Payable Assistant Role Overview:
Are you detail-oriented and love keeping things organised?
We’re looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to support our client's busy office in Holsworthy. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Accounts Payable Assistant Responsibilities:
Processing of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
Creating customer invoices and handling account queries
Assisting with preparing and processing supplier payment runs and keeping suppliers updated
Assisting with month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations
Keeping the purchase ledger up to date and audit-ready
Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
Accounts Payable Assistant Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:
Experience working with Purchase Ledgers/Account payable
Confident with data entry and office systems (SAGE experience is a bonus!)
Comfortable learning new tools and tasks (we provide training!)
A great team player with strong communication skills
Good attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks
