Trainee Sales Administrator
Location: Weybridge
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year, with growth as you grow within the role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic sales team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the sales department, assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales process. Responsibilities
- Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate records in the sales database.
- Support the sales team by preparing quotes & proformas
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products to effectively assist customers.
- Take telephone orders and assist customer queries
- Process returns and ensure they are completed in a timely manor
- Book shipments and ensure they arrive with the client
- Call existing customers to check in with them
- Any other administration tasks required
Skills
Must be confident on the phone. Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a sales or administrative role is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key
