About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Home Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes and out in the community.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
You will provide practical and emotional support to clients, helping them with daily living tasks and offering companionship and also accompanying them planned on activities and outings.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting with medication (in line with training and policies)
Helping with meal preparation and light household tasks
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting clients to maintain independence and well being
Following individual care plans and reporting any changes or concerns
Adhering to safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies
Accessing the community in the form of activities, outings and clubsAbout You
Kind, patient, and respectful
Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work flexible hours, possibly including evenings and weekends
Ability to plan activities and a scheduleEssential Requirements
A genuine caring nature and desire to support others
Willingness to undertake training and development
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous experience in home care or a similar role
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
