About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to produce high quality products for customer orders, ready for dispatch
Key Tasks:
The assembly of various (modular) Buildings, Housing and Shelter systems as well as a small range of recycling containers.
Use of a variety of hand tools, equipment and associated jigs safely and effectively.
Packing and labelling of goods in line with dispatch and customer requirements.
Movement of stock and finished goods to support assembly operations and distribution.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment in line with 5S standards.
Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety procedures and Company policies at all times.Key Objectives:
Ongoing familiarisation with the various products and systems being assembled.
Maintain a high level of precision and quality in assembly work in line with Company standards.
Adopt safe systems of work, including the correct use of PPE at all times.
Achieve pre-determined productivity targets and deadlines.The above lists are not exhaustive and may evolve with the role and business needs.
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Practically minded and confident.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as a part of a small team.
Ability to interpret sub-assembly drawings and related documentation
Competent literacy and numeracy skills.
Basic knowledge of IT.Desirable:
Previous joinery and/or product assembly experience.
Knowledge of basic electrical installations.
Willingness to undertake occasional On-Site Assembly (OSA) work.Qualifications:
