You will lead the development and delivery of high-impact communications across a complex set of academic, civic, commercial and community stakeholders, ensuring that the University’s ambitions are clearly articulated, widely shared and powerfully brought to life.You will work at the heart of transformational change programmes that align with the University’s strategy for Innovation. If you are a strategic communicator who thrives on collaboration, creativity and purpose-driven change, we would be delighted to hear from you.Your role will be varied, involving:Developing and delivering tailored communication strategies for complex projects, aligning with project timelines and deliverablesCollaborating with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholdersProducing high-quality content (copywriting, photography, video)Organising and implementing engagement activities such as briefings and eventsDefining success metrics, tracking engagement and reporting on outcomesAbout you:Our ideal candidate will have:Strong communications experience within a project/change environmentOutstanding planning and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsConfidence working in dynamic and ambiguous environmentsExperience creating engaging multimedia content, with an understanding of different audiencesExperience within Higher Education or another large, complex organisation is beneficial, as is experience in public engagement or research communications.Further information:The role is available on a full-time fixed term basis of a minimum 24 months.
