To provide high-quality, compassionate personal care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity, safety, and well-being are maintained at all times. You will work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans and regulatory standards

Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, while respecting their privacy and dignity.

Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in a resident’s health, behavior, or well-being to the Senior Carer or Nurse in charge. Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, etc.) if trained to do so.

Mobility Support: Assist residents with mobility, using hoists and manual handling equipment safely and correctly.

Social & Emotional Support: Engage residents in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being and prevent isolation.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, fluid intake, and incidents in line with data protection laws (GDPR).

Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to infection control protocols (PPE usage), health and safety policies, and safeguard residents from harm or abuse.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents (including those with dementia or communication difficulties) and the wider care team.
