Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Extrusion Operative to join our well established client.
Job Duties:

Set up and troubleshoot extrusion production lines to the required specifications.

Visually inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

Prepare and assemble components for machines.

Package products in line with customer operating procedures.

Perform general duties and cover as required within the department.

Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the designated work area.

Support production management to implement / execute the operations improvement.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

Familiarity with thermoplastic / extrusion.
-
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks.

Understanding of safe systems of work and waste handling procedures.
-
Flexibility to adapt and support different areas of production as needed.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, alternating between day and night shifts (7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am).
Starting salary: £38,516 Per Annum (including shift premium).
