Accounts Assistant

Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00

Responsibilities
Manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations to support seamless financial operations.
Oversee accounts tied to life‑saving pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance and precision.
Assist with financial reporting and help streamline workflows for maximum efficiency.
(No payroll responsibilities – this role is purely focused on core accounting tasks.)
Essentials
Proven experience in Accounts or a similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to manage high volumes of data accurately.
Comfortable working independently; self-motivated and proactive.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with confidence in handling spreadsheets and reports.
Experience with Sage (or similar platforms) and supporting auditors.
Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
