*About our Schools*
At PCT Education we have two schools Novaturient and Ness Point which cater for pupils with special educational needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and are registered to deliver alternative education to students aged 11 to 16.
All of our students have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) to support both their social and emotional needs as well as their academic progression. We provide high quality education, adopting a holistic and tailored approach, complemented by a full range of support services, for each and every one of our students.

*Role responsibilities*
* Teach small classes of pupils within and outside the classroom
* Planning and preparing lessons and resources, making adaptations to meet all the needs of all pupils
* Marking and assessing students work
* Liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of professionals
* Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
*Requirements*
* QTS or QTLS
* SEN knowledge and experience
* Deliver high quality learning
* Ambition to advance their subject area
* Excellent skills in de-escalating behaviour that challenges
* Pupil centred approach
* Ability to assess and monitor student progression
* Sequence learning to meet all pupils needs

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, cost of which will be met by PCT Education.
