Start Date: Week commencing 5th January 2026 (first week in January)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours:
Dayshift Monday- Friday: 4:30/5pm
Early Finishes on Fridays
Pay: £12.37 per hour

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Day-shift Operator to join their busy Black Prep team in Perth. If you have a background in machining or technical manufacturing and thrive on precision, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This client are a great manufacturing business in Perth and are growing every day.
What You'll Do
Operate the spiral machine to prepare bars to exact specifications
Support on other areas of the production line
Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure accuracy
Work within tight tolerances and maintain quality standards
Support machine set-up, adjustments, and routine checks
Keep your workspace safe and organised
What We're Looking For
Experience with working on production lines
Experience in machining or similar technical environment (beneficial)
Confident working with measurement tools and tolerances
Reliable, detail-focused, and safety-conscious
Availability to start first week of January
