OA are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt of goods, safe storage of products, order picking, packing and preparing items for despatch in line with company procedures.

Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities
Receive, store, pick, pack and despatch products in line with company procedures
Operate automated warehouse systems, handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
Load and unload vehicles manually or using MHE (FLT)
Maintain high levels of accuracy when picking and processing orders
Carry out inventory checks and support effective stock rotation
Identify damaged or missing stock and report issues accordingly
Palletise goods safely for transportation
Meet agreed productivity targets and KPIs
Promote and maintain a safe and compliant working environment
Support continuous improvement and assist with training new team members
Warehouse Operative Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good verbal communication skills with basic written and numeracy ability
Comfortable using computers, handheld devices and warehouse systems
FLT licence desirable but not essential as training can be provided
Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns
