About Us
Leading Nurturing Residential Specialist Ltd (LNRS) provides safe, nurturing homes for children and young people who have experienced trauma or difficult life experiences. We are opening a new children’s home in Solihull and are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the home through registration and beyond.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a brand-new service, build your own team, and make a lasting impact in the lives of children aged 8–16.
The Role
You will be responsible for the full leadership and management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. You will:
-Lead Ofsted registration and home setup.
-Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, trauma-informed team.
-Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children.
-Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance.
-Build strong partnerships with local authorities, families, and professionals.
-Ensure the home is prepared for inspections and achieves outstanding outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
-Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
-Holds, or is willing to work towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Residential Childcare).
-Has at least 2 years’ recent experience in a residential childcare setting.
-Understands safeguarding, risk assessment, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
-Is an inspiring leader who shares our values of compassion, integrity, and growth.
-Holds a full UK driving license and has access to a vehicle.
