Trimming Operative – Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Trimming Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Coventry on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term, stable employment with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities

Trimming and cutting materials including fabric, leather, foam and composite materials

Spray gluing components using approved adhesives and application techniques

Working from instructions, patterns and templates

Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure standards are met

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workstation

Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

Adhering to health & safety procedures, including PPE and COSHH requirements
Candidate Requirements
-
Trimming or upholstery experience preferred but not essential

Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

Willingness to learn and follow processes

Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Health & Safety Requirement
- Candidates must be clean shaven to ensure the correct fit and safe use of a respirator mask when carrying out spray gluing duties
