We are recruiting an experienced and reliable Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a mobile and independent 19-year-old female client with tracheostomy and PEG needs. This role includes supporting the client in the community and attending college, with transport provided by the family.
Client & Clinical Needs

Key Responsibilities

Tracheostomy care and monitoring

PEG feeding and management

Medication administration

Moving and handling as required

Monitoring early warning signs and escalating concerns

Supporting communication and independence

1:1 support at college, including:

Collecting the client from home
-
Accompanying her to college
-
Supporting her during college hours
-
Returning her home after college
Please note: the client travels to college in a car provided by the family.
Essential Requirements

Proven experience in tracheostomy care

Experience with PEG feeding

Confident with medication administration
-
Right to work in the UK
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
