Jess Tyres & Auto is recruiting a lead vehicle technician to join their current team of experienced technicians.
Duties include
Vehicle diagnostics & fault finding using latest tools & equipment
Vehicle pre-MOT checks
Vehicle servicing
General repairs
Replacement of timing belt/chain
Clutch replacement
Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Road test vehicles to ensure all faults are rectified
Adhere to all current company policies & procedures
*Essential criteria*
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification/experience (Min 4 years)
Prior experience working within a busy workshop
Full UK driving licence
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Work to the highest standards
Be self-motivated, ambitious and eager to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Desirable criteria*
Own tools capable of completing daily task of a busy workshop
Experience in light commercial vehicles
Experience in using the latest parts portal software
Previous experience coordinating jobs & team members
