We have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Orthotist to join our thriving private physiotherapy practice in Nelson.
*About the Role*
As our Senior Orthotist, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality orthotic care and managing our state-of-the-art 2D Gait Analysis clinic. This position offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and cutting-edge technology application.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide expert orthotic assessments, prescriptions, and treatments for a range of musculoskeletal and complex neurological patients
* Assess, measure, cast, fit, supply, review and adjust orthoses as required
* Maintain appropriate clinical notes and records
* Able to prioritise and manage workload
* Manage and develop our 2D Gait Analysis clinic
* To develop and lead our Scoliosis service alongside Schroth trained physiotherapists
* Lead a team of dedicated professionals
* Collaborate with physiotherapists and other specialists in both the public and private sectors
* Drive service development and implement best practices
*What We're Looking For*
* Applicants must be HCPC registered and preferably members of BAPO
* Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
* Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as an Orthotist
* Expertise in gait analysis and biomechanical assessment
* Able to manage challenging, difficult and sensitive situations
* Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
* Proficient in IT and clinical report writing
* Passion for patient care and service excellence

*Salary* - £54,710 - £61,309 pro-rata, depending on experience
