Workshop Assistant
We are currently looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy manufacturing company based in New Milton.
Training provided - a fantastic chance to learn and develop your skills!
Introduction
This will be a varied role and an excellent opportunity to gain experience across an array of manufacturing processes and support across the site.
Responsibilities - Once Trained

Sheet Metal Fabrication tasks
-
Pressure Testing and Degreasing
-
Fitting tasks
-
Maintenance & Repair work
-
Tooling Management
-
Extruding
-
Deliveries to suppliers and customers when needed.

Assisting Shopfloor Supervisor when needed

Supporting Apprentices and Work Experience students
-
Ensure Process and Procedures are followed at all times
-
Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and guidance
Ideal Experience:
-
A good knowledge of internal processes and procedures
-
Flexible and adaptable to change
-
Self-motivated and driven
-
Able to work as a team and independently
-
Good IT skills
-
Driving License - essential

£28K
Hours
Days with a lunchtime finish on Fridays
