*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
*Duties*
* Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
* Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
* Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources within the practice.
* Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering calls, and managing correspondence.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a collaborative working environment.
*Qualifications*
* Valid GDC registration (required)
* A recognised Dental Nursing qualification of at least 1 year (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
* A caring attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
