Are you ready to take the next step in your facilities management career? We’re seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of best-in-class FM services across a diverse commercial property portfolio — including multi-tenanted industrial, office, and neighbourhood retail schemes.
Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities Management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, building strong tenant relationships, and maintaining compliance across multiple client sites.
What You’ll Do

Assist in overseeing FM services across varied client portfolios

Support contractor management and supplier procurement

Administer Health & Safety and Contractor Registration Scheme systems

Conduct regular site and vacant unit inspections with detailed reporting

Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation

Build and maintain strong tenant relationships

Instruct contractors on planned and ad hoc maintenance work

Assist with service charge budgets, annual expenditure, and reconciliations

Support utility procurement, approve supplier invoices, and manage tenant recharges
What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 year’s experience in commercial facilities management

Strong knowledge of FM principles and health & safety compliance

Ability to work independently and proactively

Relationship-builder with suppliers and tenants alike

Willingness to travel to sites across the UK (typically within 2.5 hours)
