Role overview
You’ll be a central part of the Business Support Team, working closely with the Business Manager, payroll, and the wider People team. Your work will span onboarding, training coordination, compliance, documentation, reporting, and general employee lifecycle support.
Key responsibilities
• Manage all H&S training processes, including sourcing providers, bookings, certification tracking and new starter requirements
• Oversee onboarding activities such as contract preparation, right-to-work checks and coordinating inductions
• Process employee changes and liaise with payroll and the People team to ensure accurate updates
• Manage leaver administration, including documentation, payroll updates, notifications and exit interview coordination
• Create monthly reports covering absence, holidays and recruitment activity
• Maintain and update policies in line with Group standards, and provide support to managers on training requirements
• Deliver induction sessions and support new starters during their early stages
• Contribute to wider business initiatives including engagement survey actions and supporting senior leadership
• Assist the Business Manager with group reporting, ESG activity, audits and employee networks
• Support with marketing and internal communications, helping to keep employees informed and engaged
About you
• Experience within HR administration, onboarding, recruitment coordination or similar people-focused roles
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communicator with confidence supporting employees and managers across the business
• Comfortable handling confidential information
• Proactive, reliable and capable of managing multiple duties at once
• Team-focused but also comfortable working independently and owning processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
