*What you’ll do*
As an HGV Technician, you’ll carry out a full range of maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on a variety of heavy goods vehicles. You’ll work within a well-equipped workshop alongside a friendly, experienced team
* Carrying out MOT preparations and inspections
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
* Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company standards
* Keeping things moving with routine servicing & maintenance on all kinds of heavy commercial vehicles
* Completing digital job cards & inspections using tablets
* Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workshop
*Preferred qualifications*
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems.
* Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable but not essential)
* Proven experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
* Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and modern repair techniques
* Good knowledge of DVSA vehicle standards
* You’re fully qualified time-served fitter with experience in the industry
* Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
* A positive, proactive attitude and attention to detail
