We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us on a temporary full time basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll support the finance function with day-to-day activities, including:
- Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses and purchase orders accurately and on time
- Supporting month-end tasks, including journals, reconciliations and accrual preparation
- Assisting with client invoicing, ensuring billable work is captured and issued correctly
- Maintaining accurate financial records and helping prepare internal reports
- Handling finance queries from project teams and suppliers, providing excellent service
- Monitoring aged debt and assisting with credit control where required
- Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
- Contributing to a collaborative finance team and supporting colleagues during peak periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar role
- AAT part-qualified, or equivalent
- Confidence using finance systems and advanced Excel skills - LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables required
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
- An interest in developing a finance career within a technical consultancy environment
