Caritas Recruitment are seeking a skilled Social Worker - Looked After Children (LAC) to join Luton Borough Council Children, Families & Education Services (CFE). This hybrid role combines case management with court work, offering an excellent opportunity to support children in care through statutory assessments, safeguarding, and care planning.
Key responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of looked-after children, ensuring their welfare and safeguarding.
Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, reviews, and case conferences.
Complete assessments, care planning, and statutory visits in line with local policies.
Collaborate with families, carers, and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Pay: £38.84 per hour
