Academics is seeking a motivated, caring, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive two-form entry primary school in Wandsworth, starting December 2025. Position Details
- Location: Wandsworth
- Start Date: January 2025
- Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Salary: £95-£105 per day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Deliver effective 1:1 and small-group interventions to help pupils access learning and make progress
- Work alongside class teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to deliver high-quality, consistent support
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour using nurturing, child-centred approaches
This role is ideal for experienced Learning support assistant, psychology or education graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
