This is a flexible 10 hours per month opportunity initially for a fixed term of three months.
Ensuring a positive and satisfied outcome for each member attending events, taking care that expectations are fulfilled or exceeded through attentive service and support, the role is to provide warm, professional hospitality support at Member tastings, lunch and dinner events, ensuring members feel welcome and well cared for.
This includes serving food and drinks, assisting with event setup and clearing, and supporting the event host with any requirements to ensure smooth delivery of each event.
Responsibilities include:

Welcome and greet members on arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.

Assist with serving food and drinks during Member lunch and dinner events.

Support the event host with the smooth running of events, responding flexibly to requests and requirements on the day.

Ensuring adherence to Food Safety standards.

Clear tables efficiently and assist with cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and professional environment.

Glass, crockery and cutlery washing duties.

Ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation in all event spaces.

Act as a strong ambassador of The Society, maintaining professionalism and empathy in all member interactions.

Take ownership of tasks during events, showing initiative and responsibility to ensure member satisfaction.
