This is a hybrid role after passing probation, working 3 days per week in the Bethnal Green, East London office and 2 days working from home.
What You'll Be Doing
Day-to-day bookkeeping, including processing invoices, receipts, payments and journals
Supporting VAT returns, bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
Assisting with cashflow, forecasting and management reporting
Liaising with clients and suppliers to resolve finance queries quickly and professionally
Supporting credit control and debtor management
Assisting with tour finance admin, basic withholding tax documents and client reporting
Preparing information for personal tax returns and responding to HMRC queries
What You Need
Experience in bookkeeping / accounts assistant / finance admin role
AAT Level 2-3 (or equivalent experience) preferred
Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping principles and ledger processes
Confident using Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Payroll/pensions knowledge useful, but not essential
Ideally you have already worked within music, entertainment, television or other creative organisation
