We are looking for an Events Assistant to join a company in the events sector operating globally to produce and deliver international business summits in the sustainability sector.
As an Events Assistant you will:

Assist in venue research and shortlisting as well as sourcing related vendors

Manage the registration site, process new registrations and generate reports

Set up and maintain the networking event platform

Liaise with speakers to coordinate logistics and gather information to market them in the run up to the event

Support the business development teams by registering delegates and guests

Issue invoices and receipts

Proofread information and coordinate delegate information

Manage speakers and presentations on event days

Assist with event delivery including setup, registration, delegate support, and liaison with the venue and technical teams
Skills & experience required:
-
A strong interest in events is essential, ideally with a relevant degree or equivalent and/or previous experience in events administration

Experience/ability managing multiple deadlines, projects and contact points

Strong communication and organisation skills

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

Flexibility to travel internationally and to be flexible with working hours dependent on the needs of various events
Salary, hours and company benefits:

£24,000 to £30,000 based on experience

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based in Brighton
