HGV Class 1 Driver – Tramper Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000 per year
My client is seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their team. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for professional driving, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in full compliance with traffic laws and company regulations
Transport goods and materials efficiently and securely to various destinations
Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic, weather, and load requirements
Complete thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Deliver excellent customer service, handling any queries in a professional and courteous mannerRequirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Up-to-date CPC
Previous HGV driving experience (preferably in a similar role)
Clean driving record with no serious convictions or accidents
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
