Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am – 5:25pm (40 hours per week)
About the Role:
SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 LGV Driver to join the waste and recycling team supporting the local authority in the Wakefield area. This is an ongoing role, offering consistent work and a structured four-day week.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive a refuse collection vehicle on assigned rounds

Work as part of a team collecting domestic waste and recyclables

Carry out a variety of physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions

Maintain high safety standards and compliance with operational procedures
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Class 2 (LGV) driving experience

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

Previous refuse or recycling driving experience is desirable
