Legal Secretary Residential Conveyancing
Location: Southampton
Salary: £26-27,000 per annum | Permanent
Hours: Full time, 09.00- 17.00

We have a fantastic opportunity at our clients office near Southampton , supporting one experienced Fee Earner alongside another Legal Secretary in a friendly, non-commercial environment. This role has become available due to a long-serving team member’s retirement, a testament to the stability and culture of the firm.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Legal Secretary within the Residential Conveyancing department, you will play a vital part in keeping the team running smoothly:

Providing strong audio and copy typing support

Managing diaries, Organising meetings and handling daily workflow

Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries from clients and third parties with confidence and professionalism

Assisting with client bills, reporting and preparing documentation

Maintaining files, drafting correspondence and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date

Supporting the Fee Earner with general administrative duties as required
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (Conveyancing preferred)

Strong audio and copy typing skills

Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and ideally Excel

A confident, friendly telephone manner

Excellent organisational and diary management skills

A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
