Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour & SEMH Needs
Location: Longsight, Manchester
Salary: £23,114 per annum (pro rata)

Simply Education are working with a specialist provision in Longsight supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted support to pupils displaying behavioural and additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEMH or behavioural challenges.
Implement de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies using Team Teach techniques.
Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Encourage pupil engagement, self-regulation, and confidence.Requirements:
Team Teach qualification (essential).
Experience working with young people in education, youth, or community settings.
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management.
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education.Desirable:
Level 1 or 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Background within SEMH, PRU, or Alternative Provision settings.Apply Now:
