Your future duties and responsibilities
This is a growing area and an exciting time to be involved in location-based software development. With Geo becoming more and more important in modern life, you’ll not only have the opportunity to make your mark in a rapidly expanding sector but also the opportunity to work on CGI’s own IP in this space.
As a GIS Software Engineer at CGI, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Design, code, integrate, test and deploy software as part of an Agile team
• Identify and fix bugs within the codebase
• Demonstrate software solutions to clients or their representatives
• Engage with stakeholders within and across delivery team
• Mentor junior team members
• Play an active role in developing the geospatial proposition
