Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SigmaNEST software. Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering designs to create detailed schematics. Optimize cutting patterns and layouts in SigmaNEST for efficient material usage. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements. Revise and update drawings as necessary based on client feedback or project changes. Maintain and organise drawing files and documentation for easy retrieval. Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Provide technical support to the production team during manufacturing processes. Diploma or certification in Draughting, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years experience as a Draughtsman. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SigmaNEST is mandatory. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication or steel industry processes will be advantageous. Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and practices.
