Accounts Assistant
Our client is leading manufacturer specialising in precision cutting equipment designed for professionals across various industries, including sign-making, printing, and framing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Accounts Assistant with a strong knowledge of ERP systems to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will support the management accountant in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Leverage ERP software for resource, material, and production planning.
- Generate financial reports and analysis using the ERP system.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management accountant.
- Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Support the management accountant in preparing for audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve financial queries.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries promptly.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., resource/material/production planning software).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters.
This role is a permanent, part-time position located in Corby and will be fully based onsite, with a required 20hrs per week. Open to flexible work schedule within office hours.
Salary: 12.50 - 14.00 p/hr
