As RIA Money Transfer HR, we care for what makes us strong, our employees. The HR Specialist is a key team member responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services, ensuring compliance with labor legislation, and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, HR policies, and employee lifecycle management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across multiple systems and databases.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process including conducting employment checks and preparing job offers for successful candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Assist with monthly payroll to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time, coordinating with other departments that supply payroll information.
- Assist in reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain a strong understanding of HR laws, including contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, dismissal processes, and grievances.
- Respond to queries and requests for information on HR policies, working conditions, and performance management systems.
- Support communication with staff on HR matters.
- Provide support and guidance on disciplinary procedures and labor law compliance.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in an entry-level HR role.
- Experience with the full cycle of recruitment.
- Solid understanding of labor legislation.
- Familiarity with payroll processes.
- Knowledge of HRMS is an advantage.
- Fantastic interpersonal and communicative skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solid time management abilities.
- Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and HR software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
- Data-driven mindset and detail-oriented.
