The HR Specialist is a key team member responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services, ensuring compliance with labor legislation, and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, HR policies, and employee lifecycle management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across multiple systems and databases.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
Provide support and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process including conducting employment checks and preparing job offers for successful candidates.
Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
Assist with monthly payroll to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time, coordinating with other departments that supply payroll information.
Assist in reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with labor laws.
Maintain a strong understanding of HR laws, including contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, dismissal processes, and grievances.
Respond to queries and requests for information on HR policies, working conditions, and performance management systems.
Support communication with staff on HR matters.
Provide support and guidance on disciplinary procedures and labor law compliance.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
At least 3 years of proven experience in an entry-level HR role.
Experience with the full cycle of recruitment.
Solid understanding of labor legislation.
Familiarity with payroll processes.
Knowledge of HRMS is an advantage.
Fantastic interpersonal and communicative skills.
Ability to work under pressure and solid time management abilities.
Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and HR software.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Act as a reliable and supportive team member.
Data-driven mindset and detail-oriented.
