Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to assist the Technical and General Managers, to ensure the highest quality and safety of their products while maintaining their prestigious AA+ BRC accreditation.
Job role:

Monitor process operations and verify that key parameters or critical control points are operating within acceptable safe limits by testing and assessment.

Document and quarantine material that is found to be outside agreed limits or found unacceptable.

Be able to calibrate testing equipment, such as Metal Detector, Ph meter, digital thermometer and balances.

Interpret the data collated and communicate when outside agreed limits to Managers and colleagues.

To conduct site audits concerned with hygiene, housekeeping, fabric, HACCP, pre-requisites such as stock rotation and Quality Management Systems.

Assist the Technical Manager with the maintenance of the Quality Management Systems and HACCP plans.
Qualifications & Experience:

Must have experience as a QA within a food manufacturing environment (essential).

HACCP, Auditing and Food safety qualifications (essential).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for fostering a collaborative work environment.
What’s on offer:

Salary: £13.54 per hour - 38hr week

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:45am - 4:15pm, Friday: 7:45am - 3:30pm (some overtime may be required during busy periods)
