Our Depot, based in KZN, has a permanent opportunity available for a Parts Administrator. Strong organizing and administration skills are necessary for this role, as well as a high respect for timelines and a team player attitude. This position is an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding of the car rental business within a fast-paced, exciting industry.
Position Overview
The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the admin duties within the Europcar parts procurement division.
The role involves assisting in sourcing back-order parts within the OEM dealer networks, timeously as per agreed standard operating procedures.
Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Liaise with various OEMs through the dealerships or hubs.
- Assist with parts quotes using individual OEM applications.
- Place parts orders accurately and timeously.
- Follow up on orders placed.
- Monitor and update ETAs constantly.
- Release completed orders to the relevant destinations.
- Resolve queries between the panel shops and suppliers (dealers).
- Perform all other varied and general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of relevant administration or sales experience.
- 2 years experience within a parts department.
- Matric.
- Preferred Qualification: Office Admin.
- Computer literacy with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with either Kerridge/ADP or Drive.
- Parts interpretation skills using OEM catalogues (at least 1).
Important Note: The appointed person may be required to work weekends, shifts, or overtime as needed.
