We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Operative who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mechanical Maintenance Operative, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Mechanical Maintenance Operative, will be responsible for:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Ensure that SHE standards are maintained and will liaise with engineers and subcontractors.

A proactive approach to client liaison is essential, ensuring that concerns are addressed or relayed to management as necessary.

Compliance with and enforcement of existing business risk management procedures for maintenance and project works.

Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.

Investigate and report in detail on infrastructure shortfalls, problems, and incidents, recommending options for remedial actions.

Coordination of connections to existing plant/systems and effective use and maintenance of O&M Manuals and quality procedures are also key responsibilities.

The position requires availability for scheduled and unplanned weekend working.

Compliance with company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and localised fire regulation procedures is mandatory.
To be successful for this Mechanical Maintenance Operative role you must have:

Apprenticeship or equivalent, IOSH or equivalent, C&G/BTEC Mechanical.

Electrical Building Services Engineering Parts 1, 2, and 3, NVQ with multi-skilled engineering Level 3, C&G 2079 F Gas or equivalent, HVAC or gas equivalent, or C&G 2391/2 18th edition IEE regulations.

Candidates must have previous relevant experience in providing electrical maintenance services in a large, complex environment.

Basic to intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word.

Outlook, along with some experience in updating records, are essential.

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, including note-taking, is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation are crucial.
