Job Title: Lead Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Organisation: Coordinate engineering tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage schedules to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outputs.

Team Leadership: Oversee and develop a team of engineers, providing mentorship, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering professional growth.

Adaptability and Multitasking: Efficiently manage simultaneous, complex projects with shifting priorities, balancing immediate deliverables with long-term objectives.

Quality and Compliance: Ensure all team outputs meet company quality standards, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to streamline operations, optimise resource utilisation, and improve processes within the engineering function.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the engineering team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and a consistent engineering service.

Culture and Team Unity: Promote a “one team” culture across the organisation, encouraging collaboration and supporting other teams where possible.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Leadership: Set a high standard for health and safety within the team, ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a culture of accountability and safety.

Strategic Communication: Represent the team in meetings, both internal and cross-functional, to provide updates on progress and align priorities with organisational goals.
