Job Opportunity: Mobile Plant Operator

The Role
This is an interesting and varied role that involves:
Operating and maintaining mobile processing equipment at multiple locations.
Working 10 days on / 4 days off or 7 days on / 3 days off, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Occasional overnight stays (all expenses covered).
Driving a company-provided van.
Key Responsibilities
Install, operate, and maintain mobile processing plant.
Optimize machine settings to achieve desired results.
Provide support to Service Engineers on-site or in the workshop.
Supervise and train subcontractors and new employees after training completion.
Follow risk assessments and method statements before starting work.The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced in plant operations: Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment.
Independent: Capable of working unsupervised, sometimes in remote locations.
Flexible: Adaptable to changing shifts and customer needs, including night shifts.
Customer-focused: Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and respect with clients.
Motivated and organized: A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Requirements:
Process industry experience (advantageous, but not essential).
Willingness to work away from home for up to 8 days (depending on shift).
A valid manual driving license (preferably clean).
Forklift and/or telehandler license (desirable but not required).Working Hours & Pay
Shift patterns: 10 days on / 4 days off OR 7 days on / 3 days off (6 AM - 6 PM).
Overtime paid at 1.5x (Mon-Sat) and 2x (Sundays & Bank Holidays).
Competitive salary: Starting at £25k, increasing to £29k after achieving objectives.
OTE (On Target Earnings):
£48k for 10 days on / 4 days off.
£34k for 7 days on / 3 days off.What's in It for You?
