As a Maintenance Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the seamless operation of the production lines. Responsibilities include:
Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPM's.
Using both your electrical and mechanical skill set.
Diagnosing faults to find the root cause of breakdowns.
Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.
Working efficiently with the production team to minimise downtime. The qualifications & skills required to become a Maintenance Engineer:
A minimum of a level 3 maintenance engineer (electrical bias) C&G NVQ, BTEC
Understanding of SCADA control systems.
PLC fault finding experience would be an advantage
Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG. The benefits of this Maintenance Engineers role:

A shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, days and nights (6am-6pm).
